How to create a Silo Structure Website In WordPress

The way you configure your WordPress site can make a big difference in your search engine rankings. Much of what I will discuss below are things I learned by trial and error. If you have been reading my previous posts, you know, I focus more on building niche websites.When I was a beginner and had little or no knowledge of how to make money online I used to hire other people to do these basic tasks me and revere them as they are some of the smartest people on earth!Well, much later, I realized that it is certainly not as difficult as I thought to WordPress by Google and that anyone, even someone as technically challenged like me, can do without any outside help.Below I'll simplify everything I've learned over the past eight years in a way that you do not find the process intimidating at all

Tip # 1: Make your static page loaded with content:

first, stop thinking of your WordPress site as a "blog" and think like a professional website. Just like any other professional website, the home page of your website should be static rather than dynamic.In addition, it does not pay to be lazy here, okay? You need to add a lot of content on your home page as the first page of your website that Google spiders would noticeOn most of my websites, the minimum length of the content on the homepage often exceed 3000 words. on some sites the contents of my home page even exceed 5,500 words! This may sound crazy but it works! I noticed a lot of authority sites do and they are ranking their pages!

Tip # 2: Put your ads and deals above the fold:

advertising Whenever I use paid my landing page usually has a popup ad, but I do not use popups on landing pages targeted organic traffic to Google generally frowns on them.to landing pages where you can not use popups, it's a good idea to ensure that your advertising space is located above the fold, so they are the first thing people notice when they fall on your website!Sometimes I like to add my ads on the sidebar, which link to my chart. And this comes with bright flashing banner. You can visit the website without noticing

Tip 3 :. Do not create too many categories:

It's a good idea not to create more than 5 main categories -7; if you need more, consider using subcategories

Tip # 4 :. Do not fall in love with your theme:

Keep in mind that no WordPress theme , not even the premiums are PERFECTPlease note that these themes are designed for the general public and your needs may be completely different. in such a case, you must change your theme a bit to make sure your site does not look like those of other users on the same topic!Even basic tweaks such as changing fonts and colors can help a lot. Customize your theme as much as possible to make sure it supports your monetization methods.Finally, use a sensitive topic that is not too heavily loaded with JavaScript, images and css stylesheets. It is also a good idea to use a shrink plugin to increase the average load time of your website.Plugins, while helpful, can slow your website at the speed of a snail if you use too many of them. As such, you need to use plugins sparingly.Find a theme that meets 85% of your business needs so that you can remove using as few plugins as possible. I will recommend some plugins favorite of mine at the end of this report

Tip 5: 5. Basic WordPress Tweaks I perform on a new website:

-) Close the comments / Discussion section, because I do not want a spammer using Scrapebox comment on my website-) Change my permalink structure /% category% /% postname% / or simply /% postname% / -) Change my username to something other than 'admin' /-) Close the user registration as is needed at all; ! In other words, just about everything dick can not register on my website-) Add a few ping sites to get noticed my blog every time I add a new post

Tip # 6: do not ignore a part of your website

I know that Google will index all if they have enough content and backlinks pointing to them, so I give the subcategories. my website just as important in terms of content and link building as I would with the main categoriesI do not add all the content at once as it might seem spammy Google; instead I plan my messages that my content is published over a long period of time. This way it would look natural and Google would keep coming back to my site looking for more content.To the homepage I try to get links from authority sites (it does not matter if they are dofollow or not, what matters is the authority that they bring to my site, because this is what will get me noticed by Google ;. often I use parasitic pages with authority to obtain long-term SEO benefits)Note: get links of authority does not come cheap. But it is worth it if you plan to continue to earn from your website for a very long time!For example, I use authority sites such as YouTube, Vimeo, social media accounts, Scribd, Foursquare, LinkedIn, Wikipedia, etc.I also get links from Behance, About.me, Rebelmouse, medium Examining wamda, ideafit, instructables, etc (all websites use domain.com/keyword as URL rather than keyword. domain.com), Soundcloud, MySpace, image hosting sites like Imgur, etc.I also use Blogger, WordPress, social media sites like Stumbleupon, etc., to get backlinks. I do not do it to get more link juice; I do it to get more authority to my websites; I sometimes use these sites in a style of the pyramid for maximum benefit

Tip # 7 :. Using the power and Anchor Page page:

At the top of my silo structure is what I call a "page Power", which briefly summarizes what the class is all subject; the summary length is usually not less than 1200 words.I focus on my main target key word here, though I also throws around some long tail versions of the keyword as well as some related keywords as well.Anchor page is the last page of my silo structure: the length of the content that I put here is usually not less than 2000 words (longer than the "page Power 'because say- they, a building is only as strong as its base).There is not a single target keyword here, so I target some of the other keywords (usually 4-5 keywords) I used in my classes.The power of pages and category pages are usually what would get your site ranked in Google:I interrelated messages and pages that are somehow related to each other; Never, ever link to posts that are not part of the same category. This is crucial! But I could be wrong
